About Us

Early one spring morning in 1952 Farmer Sam stood over his blooming azaleas and pondered what he should name his business. Suddenly he heard the unmistakable roar of an airplane…And so Airport Nursery began. Now in its third generation run by Sam Jr. and his son Dean, Airport Nursery continues to grow and supply the highest quality of nursery stock for you to enhance your landscape. Spread over our 5 acre nursery yard, you’ll find ornamental & shade trees, exotic specimens, evergreens, perennials, and so many more colorful, interesting shrubs, all at wholesale prices.  We understand that the type of  plants you select for your yard is as important as where  you decide to place them within your landscape. Not only do you desire your yard to look beautiful, you also want your plants to thrive.  In this we can help you select what may be the most appropriate for you particular landscape.

Our nursery is situated alongside T.F. Green Airport’s runway.

            

Many of our plants—such as the evergreen “Thuja Arborvitae pictured here—we offer in larger, mature sizes. Sometimes you simply don’t want to wait the time for dinky ones to grow!
